SAVE THE DATE: APABA-DC's Let's Get Clinical: A Spotlight on APA Legal Faculty and How They Got There (Oct. 28)

Are you interested in practicing law while also pursuing a career in academia, especially in the clinical setting? Are you interested in hearing about cutting-edge, impactful work that other APA attorneys are doing to bring about meaningful change? Then join us on Wednesday, October 28th at 6:00pm EST as APABA-DC engages in a virtual panel discussion with clinical law professors of Asian descent on how they worked to achieve important roles in clinical legal education. The panelists work in a variety of legal subjects and bring expertise in immigration and civil rights to their roles. The virtual panel discussion will be held on Zoom and will begin with a panel discussion with the esteemed panelists and will then open to Q&A from the audience. This event has been organized by the Community Affairs, Education, and Practicing Attorneys Resource Committees of APABA-DC. Please RSVP for the event here.

  • Professor Ranjana Natarajan, Director - Civil Rights Clinic, University of Texas at Austin School of Law
  • Professor Reena Parikh, Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of Civil Rights Clinic, Boston College Law School

Please note a previous announcement incorrectly stated the event would occur on a Thursday, but the correct day is Wednesday, October 28.
