2019 American Constitution Society National Convention in DC + Public Interest Scholarship
ACS’s National Convention is the premier progressive legal gathering of the year. The 2019 Convention will bring together lawyers, law students, judges, and policymakers to address some of the most urgent and challenging issues confronting our nation. Confirmed speakers include Bryan Stevenson, Hon. Anita Earls (N.C.), Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson, Hon. Goodwin Liu (Cal.), U.S. Representative Colin Allred (TX-32), U.S. Representative Katie Porter (CA-45), U.S. Representative Sharice Davids (KS-3), DA Larry Krasner, and more.
Registration is open, and the public interest fellowship application for attorneys working in public interest and earning less than $80,000 annually is now available here. Student scholarships are also available here. These scholarships are only available to ACS National Members ($10 for students; $25 for government, nonprofit, and academia; $50 for private sector). If you are not a dues-paying member, you can renew here. The deadlines are April 30.
