Helen Zia, an activist, author, and former journalist, has published her latest novel Last Boat Out of Shanghai about the dramatic, real-life stories of the mad rush out of Shanghai in the wake of China's 1949 Communist Revolution. Helen will be reading from her novel and discussion. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
