AABA Mock Interviews Monday, July 22, 2013 More Info Who:
Interviewees - Law students who want to prep for Fall OCI and practice interviewing; recently licensed attorneys who would like to sharpen their interviewing skills.

Interviewers – Attorneys who have practiced at least two years or more.

Deadline for interviewer & interviewee questionnaire submission is Friday, July 19th. Mock Interviews will occur between Monday, July 22nd to Friday, August 2nd.

Each interviewer and interviewee will complete their respective questionnaire which may be obtained by contacting the Co-Chair listed below. Upon completion, the Mentorship Co-Chairs will match interviewers and interviewees based on stated interests. After matches are made, the interviewers and interviewees will be responsible for setting up the interview date, time and location. Interviewees are recommended to bring a current copy of their resume to the interview.

Law Week Asian Outreach Workshop Saturday, February 23, 2013 More Info The AABA is again joining forces with the Houston Bar Association to host a Poster Workshop for the HBA Law Week. Children grades K-8th will have a chance to showcase their creativity at the Chinese Community Center (9800 Town Park, Houston, Texas 77036) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2013.

Poster boards and supplies will be provided along with pizza and drinks for all our young artists!

This year’s theme is “Realizing the Dream: Equality for All.” Entries should depict the importance of law in our society to enable everyone to realize the dream of equality for all.

The Honorable Theresa Chang will be on hand as our special speaker. Completed posters will then be sent to the Houston Bar Association and entered into the HBA poster contest courtesy of the AABA. All entries become property of the Houston Bar Association.
