Attorney Volunteer Training for Naturalization Clinic Monday, October 18, 2010 More Info On October 18, 2010, the AABA and Catholic Charities will be conducting a lunch-time training and orientation session for attorney volunteers interested in providing services for the Naturalization Clinic on November 6th.

At the October 18, 2010 session, each attorney volunteer will receive basic training on assisting eligible low-income applicants with preparing their applications for naturalization.

If you are unable to volunteer on the day of the clinic, Nov. 6, the Clinic also needs Vietnamese and/or Mandarin-speaking Intake Volunteers, who will assist with pre-clinic screening applicants for income and naturalization eligibility, for which a separate training will be provided. This annual event provides pro bono preparation of a Will, Medical Power of Attorney, Directive to Physicians, HIPAA Release, and Declaration of Guardianship for qualified clients.

This year's clinic will be held on Saturday, February 27th, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at the VN Teamwork Center at 11210 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, TX 77072. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
