AABA/HVLP/VN Teamwork/Boat People SOS Wills Clinic Saturday, February 27, 2010 More Info The AABA is proud to partner with Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program, VN Teamwork, and Boat People SOS on the 2010 Wills Clinic. This annual event provides pro bono preparation of a Will, Medical Power of Attorney, Directive to Physicians, HIPAA Release, and Declaration of Guardianship for qualified clients.

This year's clinic will be held on Saturday, February 27th, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at the VN Teamwork Center at 11210 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, TX 77072. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers.

ATTORNEY VOLUNTEERS:

Attorney Volunteer Training/Orientation for Wills Clinic Wednesday, February 3, 2010 More Info On February 3, 2010, the AABA and Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program (HVLP) will be conducting a training and orientation session for attorney volunteers interested in providing services for the Wills Clinic on February 27.

At the February 3, 2010 session, each attorney volunteer will be assigned their client and receive basic training on how to prepare and draft the Will, Medical Power of Attorney, Directive to Physicians, HIPAA Release, and Declaration of Guardianship.

This program has qualified for 1.0 hour of MCLE credit in Texas, which includes 0.25 hours of ethics credit.
